Let’s pause today to devote time to pray for our nation, for its leaders and people, its present challenges and future opportunities. Most of all let us pray for faith, hope, generosity and resilience as we continue to live through these COVID-19 days.

Thank you Linda Sheeran for sharing with us some photos she took outside the church on this bright sunny day!
Rainbows can brighten someone’s day, wouldn’t you agree? We love to see one in the sky after a rain shower, but in recent months rainbows are showing up in lots of places! This trend began in Italy as a way to cheer up a nation at the height of the COVID-19 pandemic. Kristyn Dayter and a few others from the Capital region launched a 518 Rainbow Hunt Facebook group in mid-March. Now there are well over 100,000 people registered. While our church isn’t registered, we hope you will enjoy the rainbow artwork displayed at the Church House. We thank the youth who created it for us - Levi, Wesley and Caroline Jenkins.
Sunday morning we once again waved to neighbors in front of the church. Joining us were Mary Drake and Carrie Sheeran. Her two dogs (and others who passed by) enjoyed some of Maegan Conley’s home-made dog biscuits.
