Sunday was the 6th week in the "Reforesting Our Faith" series; Pastor Kelly's message was titled, "Deborah: Wise Decisions Made in the Shade," based on Judges 4-5. Music included "Morning Has Broken," "All Creatures of Our God and King," and our theme, "The Trees of the Field."

Here's a message from Ilah Sisson Walser, reporting on the church's current Sock Mission project, as well as the knitting mission that goes on year-round.
This picture shows a part of the distributions made in the past 24 hours. A total of 485 hats, 2 headbands, 1 pr mittens, and 54 scarves. An additional donation from the Ballston Spa UMC congregation members and Ocean State of 76 pairs of socks and slippers. These donations are headed out to the United Methodist Economic Ministry in Salem, Maine, and to the Over the Bridge Outreach and the City Mission of Schenectady. A big thank you to Breta and Ilah - the Knitting Sisters, and also to Sally, Kim, Ruth. Thanks to all of you who donated yarn - Florence, Gloria, Laurie, Carolyn, Isabella, our Vermont family, Cathy, Sally, Kim, Carolyn, and Carol. We’re saddened that Covid rates have gotten so high locally that we need to pause in-person worship... but we pray this recorded service will allow you to enter into a spirit of worship right where and when you are. The series on “Reforesting Our Faith” continues with Pastor Kelly’s message called, “Gideon: Guidance from Fleece under a Tree”, based on verses from Judges 6-8.
