It’s the third Sunday of Eastertide and Pastor Kelly preaches today on “Jesus’ Fireside Chat with Peter (Setbacks Happen).” The Scripture is John 21:1-19; music includes “What a Friend” and “A Charge to Keep I Have,” sung by Mark Warner; and “Just a Closer Walk with Thee,” sung by Kelly Schmidt. Cathy King provides accompaniment. It’s the second Sunday of Eastertide, and Pastor Kelly’s sermon is titled, “Honey, I’m Back”. It’s based on John 20:19-31. Pastor Kelly’s Easter message is titled, “165 Million People”, and comes from John 20:1-20. Music includes “Christ the Lord Is Risen Today,” “Happy Day,” and “Crown Him with Many Crowns.” And you won’t want to miss a special, and surprising, appearance by Jonathan Warner :-) It’s Palm/Passion Sunday and today’s worship service is a reflection on the events of Holy Week as captured in Luke 19, 22, and 23. Music includes “Take Up thy Cross” and “Must Jesus Bear the Cross Alone,” sung by Albert Schmidt; and “Hosanna, Loud Hosanna” and “Is He Worthy,” sung by Mark Warner. It’s the Fifth Sunday of Lent, and Pastor Kelly’s sermon is called, “Living Lives of Service”. The Scripture readings are James 2:14-18 and John 13:1-5,34. We had some technical difficulties this morning (actually, we had ALL the technical difficulties!) so the video includes the Scripture and the message, and we re-recorded the final hymn, “Lord, Whose Love through Humble Service.” Good afternoon, it’s the Fourth Sunday in Lent.
